Interestingly, I had this discussion just yesterday while out for dinner with my family; my mum & bro ordered a mess o’ snails appetizers & offered to share, whereupon I informed them that I don’t eat garden pests (moles, mice & aphids are also not on my menu). Bleah.
Also, somewhere back in the 80’s-90’s there was a rocket box (box that fits on top of your car) called Scargo and it had a logo of a snail on it and my little 10-year-old self found that quite amusing.
